Darragh Sewage Treatment Plant
The Hempfield Township Municipal Authority provides wastewater services to more than 14,000 customers. The new Darragh Sewage Treatment Plant is a sequential batch reactor (SBR) that was constructed at the original plant site. Construction for this 11 million dollar project was through a combination of Pennvest loans and local funding.
Gibson-Thomas was involved with all aspects of the project which included feasibility studies, permitting, funding, design, meetings, construction inspection and management.
