Unity Township Municipal Authority Pleasant Unity Sewage Treatment Plant

This project was the $2,785,000 expansion of a secondary treatment plant expansion in Pleasant Unity. The Unity Township Municipal Authority, which serves approximately 6000 customers, expanded and modified their existing Pleasant Unity Water Pollution Control Plant. Gibson-Thomas Engineering recommended and designed the increase in capacity from 0.5 mgd to 0.95 mgd while making provisions for a future expansion to 1.5 mgd capacity. Gibson-Thomas Engineering designed, inspected, and handled construction management.
